Volunteer your time and expertise

  • Adult Friendship Group Coordinator - WLDA has sponsored an Adult Friendship Group for many years. The long-time leaders of the group, Carol and Quentin Marino, are retiring. Volunteer to organize one activity per month for a group of adults: board games, bowling, a picnic, or an outing. The group meets now at Tappan Middle School. Contact Madelon for more details at madelonp@comcast.net.
  • Development Coordinator - WLDA sponsors public events, such as the annual recognition awards ceremony for graduating seniors in Washtenaw County.  Request and coordinate donations from area organizations to defray the cost of these events. Contact Madelon for more details at madelonp@comcast.net.
  • Public Presenter - Share your expertise and experience with other people in the area: educational, psychological, procedural, familial, employment-related, legislative, or motivational. Others will be interested in your experience. Contact Madelon for more details at madelonp@comcast.net.
