Individuals with learning disabilities may benefit from a variety of services, such as assessment, coaching, and therapy. Some local assessment and therapy providers are listed below under Professional Services.
Individual instruction can help children and adults to master skills that they may find inherently difficult, or that they have learned incompletely. Tutoring can focus on an academic area, such as reading or writing or mathematics, or it can focus on a broader range of skills, such as time management or study practices that are most efficient for an individual.
